What is wrestling?Sierra Pacific Wrestling club is a athletic group of people who are interested in joining wrestling. Wrestling can be benefit to both your physical form and your metal state. This is a program where we as wrestlers do not give up and will do anything to defend are rights to be Champions. Wrestling Focuses on the both self defense and sports man ship, it teaches you to control your emotions when both on and off of the wrestling mat and to forgive the opponent you you hurt, or to say "good job" or "your stronger then you look" as words of encouragement. This often builds respect on both your team and the opponent's team . It makes you stronger and builds up more on not just your body and endurance, but your will, to own up to the challenge and to not be afraid when you look your opponent straight in the eye. Wrestling (at the beginning of your first year) brakes you down to see what you are made of, to see if you are made of stone or bone as we say. But when you got some years of experience under your belt it builds you back up, into the unstoppable machine of victory. Wrestlers often focus on metal control more then physical strength. Mind over matter. We say that rage is a spark that gets the machine started, but rage blinds you and the enemy uses that to his/hers advantage. This is what wrestling means to most people. Braking you down, then building you back up.
